PUTTING CHRIST FIRST IN EVERY STEP OF THE FAITH JOURNEY
At St Philip’s Christian College Cessnock, our Core Value of Putting Christ First is at the heart of everything we do. We are intentional about creating opportunities for students to explore, strengthen and live out their faith in a Christ-centred community.
This term, our students took part in two significant cross campus events to support their spiritual growth.
Year 7 to 10 students attended the Ministry Camp at Tahlee, joining peers from other St Philip’s schools for a time of worship, student-led workshops and personal reflection in the beauty of nature.
Following this, SPCC Cessnock proudly hosted a Cross Campus Worship Night for students in Years 7 to 12, welcoming around 100 students from across all St Philip’s campuses. The evening included a sausage sizzle, games, worship and a powerful message from our Chaplain, Alex, who encouraged students to trust in God, come as they are and allow Him to use them for His purpose.
These experiences are more than just memorable events. They reflect our commitment to helping students grow in Christ, build authentic friendships and feel supported on their faith journey.
