A New Christian School for the Maitland Region
St Philip's Christian College is excited to announce plans for a new campus in the Maitland region, bringing our distinctive Christ-centred approach to education to local families.
A Development Application has been lodged for the establishment of St Philip's Christian College Maitland at 52 Wyndella Road, Lochinvar. The proposed campus has been thoughtfully designed to provide high-quality learning environments that support academic excellence, character development, and student wellbeing.
The proposed development includes:
- A new two-storey Junior School building
- A single-storey modular learning facility
- Canteen and supporting amenities
- Outdoor learning and recreational spaces
- Before and after school care through an Out of School Hours School Care (OOSH) service
Once established, the campus will accommodate up to 350 students and approximately 30 staff, creating a vibrant learning community for families across the Maitland region.

Development Application Information
The proposal has been submitted as a Regionally Significant Development and will be assessed by the Hunter and Central Coast Regional Planning Panel.
The Development Application will be publicly exhibited for a 28-day period commencing 18 August 2026. Full details will be available through Maitland City Council's Development Application Tracker when the exhibition period begins.
