The Early and Extended Education Sector for St Philip’s Christian Education began with the establishment our Narnia Preschool in 1992 on the original St Philip’s church site.
Since its inception, the sector has seen significant growth. Narnia Waratah relocated in 2013 as a purpose-built centre for children aged 0–5, establishing a model for our Early Learning Centres. Narnia Gosford was established in 2014, followed by Narnia Port Stephens in 2017 and Narnia Prep Cessnock in 2019, alongside Narnia Young Parents programs in Waratah and Wyong in partnership with Young Parents College. This growth also led to the development of Narnia Educator Training, in partnership with International Childcare College, equipping Christian educators for our centres.
Alongside our Early Learning Centres, Saints Academy extends our care beyond the school day, providing high-quality outside school hours programs and vacation programs. Saints Academy offers a safe and engaging environment where children can grow socially, creatively, and spiritually through outdoor education, nature play, and opportunities in areas such as the Arts, STEM, health and fitness, leadership, and spiritual development.
We are excited to see how God uses St Philip’s Christian Education in the Early and Extended Education sector in the years to come, and we look forward to continuing to foster a love of learning and a heart for God in every child.
