The Barracks Café started in 2015 as a two-fold business structure; we are a certified training centre and fully operational café open to the wider St Philip’s Community.
We serve a seasonal menu, fair-trade coffee and homemade pastries as well as providing Year 11 and 12 students with the opportunity to learn practical skills and hands-on experience in a busy, functioning work environment.
We are located within the SPCC grounds (entry via the Harriet St carpark) and we’re open from 7:30-3:30pm (the kitchen closes at 2pm) every weekday, and school holidays during specified hours.
As a part of the College, we pride ourselves on maintaining the same values of Christ at the centre and striving for excellence in all we do.
School Holiday Closure
The Barracks Cafe will be CLOSED for the September / October school holidays from Friday 5th December - Tuesday 20th January.
The Cafe will open 8 - 3pm on Wednesday 21st January 2026.
