Learning Environments

The Junior School complex offers large, well ventilated and air-conditioned general classrooms, which include a practical/wet area for art and craft activities. The classrooms are designed as flexible learning spaces, with moveable glass walls allowing for classes to work individually or across Year groups. A STEAM Room (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) provides an exciting space for hands-on, ‘messy’ learning. In recognition of its location next to wetland forest, the Junior School reflects a biophilic design philosophy, with aspects of the natural environment featuring in the built environment.

Students have access to outdoor play equipment, a large grassed playground, as well as paved and covered areas.

Junior School also makes use of the library/hub where students have access to over 30 000 printed and multimedia items and internet research facilities. The students can also access the facilities of the Middle and Senior Schools to support our innovative and diverse curriculum.
