Junior School is a dynamic, exciting and inspiring place to learn and grow.

Who we are

“These are the things we learn in Kindergarten: Share everything; Play fair; Don’t hit people; Put things back where you found them; Clean up your own mess; Don’t take things that aren’t yours; Say you’re sorry when you hurt someone; Wash your hands before you eat; Flush; Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you; Live a balanced life – learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work everyday some; Take a nap every afternoon; When you go out into the world watch out for traffic; Hold hands and stick together and Be aware of wonder” – Robert Fulghum.

Armed with basics such as these and a belief that ‘we are made for greatness’ – our Junior School staff strive to provide a nurturing environment to support a quality education program. Throughout each child’s learning, hard work and play, junior school students will experience the truth of God’s love for each of them and the bright future He has for all of us.

Small Strong Beginnings

Our school began in 1995 with 41 students immersed in a safe, nurturing and challenging environment. After more than two decades of continued growth, we have zealously guarded this culture, so that today this same learning environment undergirds our quality education program.

Rich Learning Environment

Provisions are made for the individual needs of students including a wide variety of both support and enrichment programs.

All students are included in a rich school program. Students from Kindergarten to Year 4 participate in Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country carnivals (modified for Kindergarten, Year 1 and 2). All students enjoy a rich diversity of excursions and incursions and have many opportunities to participate in an ever-growing array of extra-curricular activities.

A unique school initiative is our Kindergarten / Year 12 buddy program. Each year, our Year 12 students take a kindergarten student as their ‘buddy’ and together they journey through the year, playing games, reading, writing and learning together, culminating in a special presentation by Kindergarten at our Year 12 Graduation assembly. These friendships often last for many years after our Year 12 students graduate.
