Meet our Executive Director of Early Learning

Nicole Denzin

As Executive Director of Narnia Early Learning, Nicole leads the early learning centres of St Philip’s Christian Education Foundation. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education across a variety of settings, she is passionate about ensuring children and families feel deeply supported and valued.

Nicole is passionate about authentic Christian education and creating aesthetically beautiful, homelike early learning environments where children feel safe and known. She is committed to providing Christ-centred, play-based education that nurtures both hearts and minds. Families are central to this vision, and Nicole places great importance on building strong, genuine partnerships that honour the vital role parents and carers play in each child’s learning journey.

She is particularly focused on slow, relationship-rich pedagogy that allows children to flourish at their own pace, with their voices, agency, and rights at the heart of practice. Drawing on Bronfenbrenner’s ecological model, Nicole seeks to ensure children are supported within the wider context of family, culture, and community.

Nicole brings deep working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and serves as a NESA Supervisor, mentoring early childhood teachers as they progress from provisional to proficient accreditation. She continues to advocate for excellence, inclusion, and creativity in early learning.

We are excited to see how God uses St Philip’s Christian Education in the Early Learning Sector over the years to come, and we look forward to continuing to provide an environment in our Early Learning Centres which fosters a love of learning and a heart for God in our youngest members of the St Philip’s family.
