Meet our Executive Director of Early Learning

Nicole Denzin

Nicole has been working in the NSW Early Childhood Education and Care Sector for over 25 years in varying capacities. She has over 10 years experience in directing centres and spent 6 years as Area Director and Company Director of a large chain in the Hunter, project managing 5 centre builds in this time and overseeing 90+ staff. She is very experienced with liaising with the Early Childhood Education and Care Directorate and leading service transfers, provider approvals and service approvals. Over her years in the sector, she has led many teams through the assessment and rating process under the NQF with teams achieving ‘exceeding national quality standard’.

Nicole has been the Area Director for our Narnia Early Learning Sector for two years and is also a current NESA Supervisor, leading responsible accreditation of Early Childhood Teachers from provisional/conditional to proficient teacher status.

Nicole has a passion for advocating for quality and excellence in early learning centres, and we have seen the outworking of this in her role working across our Narnia Centres as she mentors and supports early childhood professionals to understand what quality in the early childhood environment looks like.

Nicole is passionate about authentic Christian education and incorporating creative arts and nature pedagogy into aesthetically beautiful learning environments. She looks forward to continuing to build partnerships with families and communities as she leads our Early Learning Sector into the future.

We are excited to see how God uses St Philip’s Christian Education in the Early Learning Sector over the years to come and we look forward to continuing to provide an environment in our Early Learning Centres which fosters a love of learning and a heart for God in our youngest members of the St Philip’s family.
