On Monday, we were privileged to welcome the Honourable Senator Sarah Henderson and her Chief of Staff, Bree Willsmore, to our College. Senator Henderson has a strong interest in the SPCC Teaching School model and was eager to connect with Teaching School Alumni, current students, and Mentors involved in the program.
During her visit, the Senator engaged in meaningful conversations about the unique Mentor partnerships and heard firsthand from graduates about their journeys beyond graduation. She also had the opportunity to observe a Year 8 PE class, taught by one of our Teaching School graduates, in action.
It was a privilege to share the ways in which we are preparing high-quality Christian educators within the context of a vibrant school community.
