The College held its annual R U OK? Day awareness on Thursday the 11th of September.
Students from Kindy to Year Twelve were invited to participate in class discussions around the value of checking in on their friends and learn the message that checking in is not just once a year, but that checking in on mates is for any day.
At lunchtime, Junior School had some foodie fun! They played “Spin the Wheel, Eat the Meal” – which is a game that’s equal parts luck and laughter. Names were popped onto a spinning wheel, and whoever it landed on, they choose a mystery box to eat from. Some of it was tasty and some of it was a surprise! Either way, it was lots of fun for everyone watching (and playing!).
For Middle School, and Senior School, the playground turned into a stadium as the teachers and students faced off in the much-anticipated Basketball Shoot-Out.
Of course, the loss for the students meant only one thing: Slime Time.
Our College captains Xavier and Amelia were all dressed up, with nowhere to go except the showers. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to cheer, laugh, and join in the shoot-out fun.
The students may have been slimed this time, but something tells us they’ll be back for revenge next year! Thank you to our wonderful Wellbeing team, for all their hard work in hosting such a fun-filled event.
