Last Thursday, marked our annual Music, Art, Drama and Design and Technology showcase, which was a dazzling celebration of creative excellence; reinforcing the strength of the Creative and Performing Arts at St Philip’s.
A packed auditorium of students, staff, families, and friends gathered to support our Year twelve cohort, many of whom presented their HSC major works — from moving performances and dramatic pieces to impressive displays of textiles, timber, and multimedia design projects. The excellence on show was a clear reflection of their hard work, talent, and passion.
We were also thrilled to welcome back alumni who returned to support the next generation of artists, designers, and performers. Their presence added to the strong community spirit that defines MADD Night; a night where creative excellence is not only showcased but celebrated together.
Year eleven Music and Drama students also took to the stage, dazzling the audience with their technical skill and expressive performance, while Visual Arts works and Design and Technology pieces across all stages highlighted the breadth and depth of talent across the College.
Whether through a soulful solo, a compelling monologue, a beautifully constructed garment, or a finely crafted timber project, MADD Night 2025 reminded us that creativity is alive and thriving at St Philip’s. We couldn’t be more proud of the students and their achievements.
