Zara M, Year twelve 2025 student was an award recipient in 2019 Fred Hollows Junior Ambassador awards for her help with Ken’ya Help Day. In 2022 Zara was able to be involved in ‘Freds Big Run, 30th anniversary celebration, A visit to Fred Hollows HQ in Sydney and assisted in filming a promotional video for next year’s junior ambassador awards.
Last week, Zara was invited to speak at the combined Fred Awards and share how her project Ke’nya Help day was created at our College, when she was in just year One. Now, as a 2025 HSC Student, Zara has been able to overlook this project for the last eleven years and witness just over $45,000 raised to assist families living in destitution and poverty.
Zara is doing everything to ensure that Ken’ya Help Day and it’s mission, will continue to run long past her studies here at St Philip’s.
