On Tuesday we gathered as a whole school to have our annual ANZAC day service. This was a time to stop and commemorate those who have served, in all conflicts and peacekeeping missions, from World War I to the present day. The Junior School choir were very moving as they sang ‘I am Australian,' and the Senior School Band lead us in the National Anthem.

We were blessed to have the 2/17th Royal NSW Regiment join our school with a catafalque party. Our speakers included Michael Hickey from Legacy who spoke about the history of ANZAC Day. Mr David Lethbridge, a grandfather of a staff member, presented a moving speech on his involvement in the Vietnam War.

The students once again demonstrated excellent manners as they sat through the assembly very politely.
