How do I enrol?

Which students are eligible?

Dynamic Learning College is for students in Years 3 – 12 who have Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1&2). Students/children who attend Dynamic Learning must provide documentary evidence that shows they have a diagnosis meeting the criteria listed below for disability status in the areas of cognitive, mental health and/or Autism. All documentation must be provided so that the suitability of the student can be assessed by taking into account all relevant information.

Selection of Students Referral and Enrolment Process

Parents/caregivers and potential students are interviewed by the Head of Campus. The purpose of this meeting is to determine if St Philip's Christian College Dynamic Learning is the best educational fit for the student. The Principal must be confident that the student and parents/caregivers are happy to work closely with Dynamic Learning staff to achieve the best educational outcome for their child.

Students may be referred to St Philip's Christian College Dynamic Learning by their School Counsellor, Home School Liaison Officer or Community Welfare Agency.

1. APPLICATION FOR ENROLMENT INITIAL ENQUIRY

Enrolment enquiries can be made by contacting our school registrar on 02 4949 2929 who will assist the parent/carer to complete the enrolment enquiry form. 

2. SUBMITTING THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION 

The school’s registrar will work the parent/carer to obtain the supporting documentation required to confirm enrolment criteria is met.

3. APPLICATION FOR ENROLMENT 

Once enrolment criteria is confirmed the application pack is required to be completed and a tour of the school can be arranged. A non-refundable Application Fee of $150 is payable when submitting an Enrolment Application. Please ensure all requested information is completed in full and submitted with your application. 

4. INTERVIEW 

Prospective students and their parents/carer will be required to attend an interview with the Head of Campus. Once your application has been submitted, the school will contact you in regard to the timing of your interview. 

5. OBSERVATION ­

Post the meeting with the Head of Campus an observation at the child’s current school, Dynamic Learning campus or both will be required as part of the enrolment process.

6. OFFER OF ENROLMENT 

The enrolment application and outcomes of the observations will be reviewed, and the family will be advised if a position will be offered. Once the family have decided to accept the Offer of Enrolment, please sign your letter of offer and return it to the school with any necessary payments to ensure enrolment can commence.
