The 42-year journey…
Jo is currently the Instructional Coach- for Preservice and Early Service Teachers at St Philip’s Christian College, Newcastle. Prior to this Jo was the Director of Learning Support K-12 for many years, a Support Teacher, Primary Teacher and in the beginning a Kindergarten teacher. Through the implementation of the Instructional Coaching model, Jo supports and guides Preservice Teachers in a partnership role, along with Early Service Teachers based at the Newcastle Campus.
Jo finds joy as the Teaching School Coordinator in assisting preservice teachers, not only with pedagogy and classroom management, but also to live a balanced life by maintaining effective well-being strategies.
