Vacation Program FAQ

General Information for Families:

For parents who have children attending who require medication during the day:
As per the normal school day, if your child takes medication before or during school, we require that they continue this medication on days they attend the Vacation Program. Like school, the Vacation Program is a complex relational environment, and we find that students thrive best when they continue their normal medication schedule when attending. If your child attends unmedicated, they may be asked to be picked up early. If you require this, please contact us so we can arrange the correct paperwork for us to administer medication onsite.

For parents who have children attending on one of our incursion or excursion days:
If you have a child attending on an incursion or excursion day you will be required to sign an authorisation form at drop off. The authorisation form gives authority for your child/ren to participate in the incursion or excursion on that day. You must sign this form at drop off to participate and attend that day. The authorisation form will be located next to the sign in Ipad on the morning of care.

Contact:
The service mobile phone will be operational and the main contact number during the vacation program. The service mobile phone number is: 0493 642 820.

Food:
Parents are to provide morning tea and lunch for students. Saints Academy will provide afternoon tea as per the normal After School Program menu. For ideas for healthy lunchboxes click this link.

What to Wear
Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly labelled and provide a jumper during cooler days, as we spend significant time outdoors, weather permitting. Children must wear ENCLOSED SHOED and have a HAT each day. Children are not permitted to wear thongs or sandals.

Signing Children in/out
As per the After School Program, children are to be signed in and out on the Kiosk on the iPad located at the entrance to Saints Academy. If there are any irregular pickup arrangements, please update your authorised pickups in My Family Lounge and/or let your service know over email.

Hours of Operation and Cost:
Please note that our program begins at 7.30am and concludes at 6:00pm. The daily fee for each day is charged at $83.90 a day (minus your CCS entitlement), incursion and excursions are an extra cost and are not CCS eligible.
