What are the qualifications of the Academy staff?

At Saints Academy, our staff range from Degree Qualified Teachers to Diploma and Certificate III educators. All staff have Working with Children Checks. All staff in supervisory positions have Child Protection certificates and First Aid Certificates. 

We pride ourselves on having staff of a very high calibre. At times we will have volunteers, work experience students and Trainees.

What are the fees and session times for Saints Academy?

The cost of the service is directly linked to the Federal Government Child Care Subsidy. 

Permanently booked positions are to be paid for the days for which the child is enrolled whether the child attends or not, except for public holidays and some school holiday periods. Any account enquiries are to be made to the administration staff during office hours.

When are my fees due?

Statements are issued every week via email using the Qikkids childcare management system. The statement will show your balance for the upcoming 2 weeks (the current week and the next week). The balance showing on the statement is due by the end of the week in which the statement is issued. For families that are eligible for CCS the statement balance will reflect any CCS to be paid by Department of Human Services. There is a link at the bottom of the first page of the statement to a short video on how to read the statement.

Saints Academy fees are due 2 weeks in advance of your child’s attendance. If fees are not kept up to date, then your enrolment may be cancelled. Please refer to the Saints Academy Fee Policy for more details regarding accounts that overdue for payment.

Payments can be made via direct credit from your bank account or as a Direct Debit through the Saints Academy payment system Debitsuccess.

If you wish to set up a direct debit, please complete the direct debit form for your location and email it to your service;

Bank account details for your service can be found on the first page of your statement. Cash payment is not accepted.

How much notice do I need to give to end or change care arrangements?

For permanent bookings, written notification with 2 weeks’ notice is to be provided to end care or to make a change to a booking. 

For casual bookings, 24 hour’s notice is required. Casual booking cancellations can be made via the Parent App My Family Lounge.

Please email end of care notices to the relevant service email for your location (listed above).

What if my child is sick and cannot attend?

If your child is sick or not attending on the day, please let us know as soon as possible by marking your child absent using the parent app My Family Lounge or phoning / emailing the Academy. 

Please note that you will still be liable for any fees incurred on this day.

Are Risk Assessments provided for excursions/activities?

Risk assessments are completed for all excursions and activities (as needed) and available onsite for parent access. An Academy Educator/Teacher will provide a copy of Risk Assessments to Parents and Caregivers upon request. During Vacation Programs, children may be transported via bus for planned excursions. All buses are fitted with seat belts and children are required to wear these.
