What are the fees and session times for Saints Academy?

  • 2025 Afterschool Program - $41.50 per afternoon session
  • 2025 Vacation Program - See Vacation Program tiered fee structure below
  • 2025 Before School Program (Gosford Only) - $29.65 per morning session

SPCC Saints Academy is registered for the Federal Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS). For the Vacation Program, fees are structured in tiers based on the activity for the day. For eligible families, CCS can be applied to the full cost of the day (including any travel, excursion, or incursion cost). The Vacation Program Rates are shown in the table below.

Please contact Centrelink directly to register for CCS. You can find more information on how to apply and who is eligible HERE You will be asked to accept your CCS enrolment by the service administration assistant prior to your child attending Saints Academy. Please action these request in order for any eligible CCS to be applied to your Saints Academy account. Full fees will be payable until you have finalised your CCS. Please note that Centrelink does not backdate applications for CCS do you must apply before your child attends Saints Academy. Any account enquiries are to be made to the administration staff during office hours.

Permanently booked positions are to be paid for the days for which the child is enrolled whether the child attends or not, except for public holidays and some school holiday periods. Any account enquiries are to be made to the administration staff during office hours.

What are the Booking and Cancellation periods for Casual Days?

Where vacancies are available, casual bookings can be made using the My Family Lounge Application (on a web browser of the phone app). Please refer to the Saints Academy Parent Guide HERE for instructions on how to make a casual booking. Please note that the Vacation Program is booked through the casual bookings section of My Family Lounge.

Timeframes for Casual Bookings and Cancellations:

  • After School Program:
    • Casual Bookings: Up to 12pm the day before the desired booking day
    • Casual Cancellations: Two days or more before the booked day.
  • Vacation Program:
    • Bookings: 7 days in advance of the desired booking day. For example, if booking for a Monday, the booking must be made by 2pm Monday the week prior.
    • Cancellations: 7 days or more before the booked day. For example, if you have a booking for a Monday, the cancellation must be made prior to 2pm Monday, the week prior.

When are my fees due?

Fees are to be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly and paid at least 2 weeks in advance.

Payment of fees is to be by automated direct debit initiated by the Centre. Other forms of payment including cash and cheques will not be available. The direct debit agreement is completed when completing the enrolment form online in My Family Lounge. Your child’s enrolment will not be finalised until the direct debit agreement has been completed along with all other mandatory items in the enrolment form.

You will receive a statement via email either weekly or fortnightly. If you have a direct debit set up on your account, the statement will show a nil balance in the Due Now section, as your account will be paid via direct debit in the future week. Please check the account transactions listed in your statement for the details your next payment.

How much notice do I need to give to end or change care arrangements?

For permanent bookings, written notification with 2 weeks’ notice is to be provided to end care or to make a change to a booking. 

For casual bookings, 48 hour’s notice is required. Casual booking cancellations can be made via the Parent App My Family Lounge.

Please email end of care notices to the relevant service email for your location (listed above).

What if my child is sick and cannot attend?

If your child is sick or not attending on the day, please let us know as soon as possible by marking your child absent using the parent app My Family Lounge or phoning / emailing the Academy. 

Please note that you will still be liable for any fees incurred on this day.

What are the qualifications of Saints Academy staff?

At Saints Academy, our staff range from Degree Qualified Teachers to Diploma and Certificate III educators. All staff have Working with Children Checks. All staff in supervisory positions have Child Protection certificates and First Aid Certificates. 
We pride ourselves on having staff of a very high calibre. At times we will have volunteers, work experience students and Trainees.

Are Risk Assessments provided for excursions/activities?

Risk assessments are completed for all excursions and activities (as needed) and available onsite for parent access. An Academy Educator/Teacher will provide a copy of Risk Assessments to Parents and Caregivers upon request. During Vacation Programs, children may be transported via bus for planned excursions. All buses are fitted with seat belts and children are required to wear these.
