We were honoured to have Ryan Palmer, Mayor of Port Stephens meet with some of our Year 12 Design and Technology students to discuss their HSC projects this week. Chelsea and Mia were able to spend time with Mayor Palmer going through their ideas for the redevelopment of Fly Point and Anzac Park, seeking his advice and leaning into his wealth of knowledge about the area.
We look forward to seeing how their design concepts for amphitheatres, bike paths, pop-up business locations, playground equipment and more are developed during the year. These plans will then be submitted to Port Stephens Council for their review toward the end of the year.
