Join Us for Our Experience Day
Leading the way in innovative initial teacher education, the St Philip's Teaching School offers a whole new pathway to employment in the Christian Education sector. In 2018, the Teaching School embarked upon finding a solution to produce high-quality Christian teachers to ensure the organisation's long-term sustainability and address the broader teacher shortage issue. Based on our extensive experience in developing the program, we seek to provide assistance and support to schools looking to establish Teaching Schools to raise the next generation of exemplar Christian teachers.
The Teaching School Experience Day on Tuesday 20 June provides the opportunity to understand the St Philip's Teaching School model through presentations from the Teaching School team and observation of the program in action. Participants will observe beginning trainees through to Teaching School graduates, in the classroom and meet with mentors to gain first-hand insight into their experience. The Teaching School Principal, College Principal and team will share their experiences and be available to answer questions and provide advice.
