St Philip's Christian College Port Stephens has numerous building projects in development

Port Stephens

Philip’s Christian College Port Stephens has seen rapid growth since its inception in 1995. This has necessitated campus development to provide a safe, comfortable and challenging environment for all students.

In early 2015 development in the Senior School area was completed. This included a modular building for use by our Middle School and Senior School students. This building incorporates a middle school class room, senior school classroom, 2 science labs, teaching staff office and a Year 12 common room. In addition to the class rooms, the areas around this building have also been improved and have allowed for a great social area for the Year 11 and 12 students.

Other improvements and developments to the campus have included:
Performing Arts Centre: This project provides a 340 seat tiered theatre with a fully equipped stage, foyer and change facilities. This was extended in 2012 to include piano music rooms, a recording studio, sound proof tuition cubicles and a drama room. The Theatre was renamed on 9th October 2013 in memory of our Founding Principal Mr Chris Walkling.

Trade Training Centre - This facility enables the College to offer Electrotechnology, Hospitality, Construction and Education Support vocational education options.

Playground Equipment for Junior School: Playground Equipment has been established in Junior School to enhance the play facilities for K – 4.

Senior School – This state of the art school was completed in 2019 and provides wonderful areas in which the senior students enjoy working and studying. This Senior School precinct features - Harvard Style Classrooms, common areas for senior students, an exam centre, a senior resource centre, flexible, technology-rich, light and spacious learning environments, a gym and a cafe.
