The apostle Paul says in one of his last letters in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight: I have finished the race I have kept the faith”.

In his younger days, Mr Williamson studied Theology, thinking that he might end up in full time ministry; however, one thing led to another and he decided upon teaching mathematics. 40 years later, married to the amazing Janice and with three wonderful adult children, we all believe he made the best decision!

Many of our younger students don’t realise he has an incredibly wicked sense of humour, but ask any of our senior students or our staff who see the real Mr Williamson and they will tell you what he is really like - “a very passionate teacher who really cares for his students and can pretty much see the funny side of absolutely anything!”

Mr Williamson has taught at the best school in the Southern Hemisphere for the past 22 years and is looking forward to the weddings of his two daughters, more paddling in Port Stephens and some short term mission work.

The words of Paul certainly ring true for Mr Ewen Williamson as well and he will be truly missed by us all.
