Work Experience

In Term 4 each year, Year 10 students participate in Work Experience. Students are able to identify a career that interests them and then work in that industry for a week. This continues to be an invaluable experience for our students, as they are able to see the reality of their chosen industry and engage in real world learning and problem solving.

Each year, the careers selected are diverse and include physiotherapy, engineering, accounting, graphic design, marine science, marketing, education and disability support, administration, medical research, law and midwifery.

Work Experience is not possible without the many organisations and individuals who host a work experience student – this is an unforgettable experience and one that will give them direction for their future career choices. The College is appreciative of the support extended by numerous individuals and businesses.
