I am thrilled to invite you to the inaugural St Philip's Golf Classic. This year the event aims to support two pioneering areas of St Philip's Christian Education: The Young Parents College and the Teaching School Initiative.

Our Young Parents College assists in breaking down barriers teenage parents experience in trying to achieve their education. By empowering our young parents with education, we can give them the confidence to alter the course of their life and equip and mobilise them to fulfil their further study and vocational goals.

Our Teaching School Initiative is dedicated to developing teachers for the future who are both contextually and professionally ready for the classroom. The apprenticeship model provides school-based teacher training in partnership with tertiary education providers to shape the trainee for the role of a Christian school teacher. Now in operation for six years, the St Philip's Teaching School has established itself as the benchmark for teaching schools across the country.
