For the Whole of Their Life.

Why St Philip's Christian College

At St Philip's Christian College we endeavour to provide an enriching and liberating education; an education that not only teaches, but transcends the discipline of learning and the acquisition of competencies, to the acquiring of a deep sense of the greatness of life and learning.

Providing an enriching and liberating educational experience

St Philip's Christian College is a dynamic community of opportunity and excellence. The St Philip's Christian College group of schools leads the way in 'Whole of Life' education catering to students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

The College has schools located in Newcastle, Cessnock, Port Stephens and Gosford. Our highly regarded DALE schools provide opportunities for students with emotional or intellectual challenges. The DALE Young Parents School offers parents the opportunity to complete their schooling journey while their children are cared for at the onsite childcare facilities.

Narnia Christian Preschool and Early Childhood centres are the early learning facilities of St Philip's Christian College and cater for children from 0 to 5 Years. Their proximity to St Philip's Christian College Junior School allows for the Transition to School Program, providing children with access to school facilities and visits and experiences with staff from the Junior School in the lead up to the commencement of Kindergarten.

St Philip's Christian College is leading the way in generating a shift in pedagogy and learning environments. We are empowering our students to learn in a way that is complementary to their individual learning style and we are providing them with opportunities to excel across every area of their education. Each St Philip's School offers individualised student learning frameworks, innovative and engaging learning environments and opportunities for students to excel in the whole of their life by opening pathways in the areas of academic excellence, information technology, iSTEM, music, creative and performing arts, sport and vocational education.

Nurture in the Christian faith is seen as vital to a student forming strong values, purpose and integrity. We believe we are developing global citizens who are graduating from their schooling journey with not only a superior academic education but with an understanding of the world in which they find themselves physically, socially, culturally, academically and spiritually.
