I spent four fun filled years at this amazing school being taught by wonderful teachers and making friends along the way.
St Philip’s Christian College DALE is a Dynamic Alternative Learning Environment for students in Years 3-11 who have a diagnosis of Anxiety, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Mild Intellectual Disability. It is a school of new beginnings, full of grace and second chances with campuses in Gosford, Cessnock and Waratah that aim to create a program in which students with particular social, emotional and learning needs can feel loved, understood, challenged and secure.
Our campuses in Gosford and Cessnock are within the St Philip’s Christian College grounds and very much part of the culture of the College. We want to change lives by inspiring young people and we aim to create an environment where students love coming to school.
SPCC DALE is a ‘small school’ environment and has a high staff to student ratio which provides many young people who feel lost in a mainstream setting, a sense of security and belonging. We have experienced staff trained to identify the academic and social needs of students and design a program that teaches them the skills needed to prepare them for life and employment.
Students have the opportunity to gain their RoSA as well as a non ATAR HSC program through a variety of subjects that students love unique to each campus.
SPCC DALE is a child safe environment
No child should suffer harm, either at home or at school. Everyone who works in our school has a responsibility to make sure that all our children and young people are safe. All those who come into contact with children and young people at our school, whether a paid employee or volunteer, have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Any person visiting the school, including parents, must attend Reception first to sign in. No parent is able to walk directly to their child's classroom without signing in and seeking permission to do so.
