Subject Information
This subject is designed to equip you with practical leadership and decision-making skills. In this elective, you will be placed in a range of natural disaster, military, political, health and critical incident scenarios requiring you to work closely with team mates to make high-risk decisions. Can your team win, will you save the world, or will it be a disaster?
Learning takes place through a range of role play, strategy games, outdoor orienteering, and online learning opportunities. Your decisions will determine where each lesson will go. In the excitement of competition, you will also get a practical understanding of how the human world of diplomacy, laws, resources, politics, geography, and war works.
Rather than assignments and exams, you will be assessed on your individual contributions to teams, your level of engagement with challenges and your ability to apply strategic thinking across a range of scenarios.
