This subject explores the development of skills and knowledge around the sport of netball. Students will participate in a range of practical experiences in the College Activate Centre and Courts, and also look to build on their knowledge of the sport through various theoretical coaching and officiating aspects. At the end of this course, students will have gained an understanding of Coaching Netball to Primary aged students.
The students will undertake and develop a specific netball Strengths and Fitness Program that they can use in their fitness sessions and will develop an understanding of psychology in sport and how motivation can affect performance.

This course is designed for students who have a passion for Netball and would like to develop their physical movement skills and game sense further. This course is designed for students who already have competent Netball skills and would like to take their skills to the next level with a targeted development program.
This subject will help develop fundamental movement skills which may be helpful to students studying the physical education aspects of PDHPE at a Stage 6 level.
