Employment Announcement 2022

After careful consideration, it is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Mrs Rebekah Margach to Head of Middle School, and Mr Caleb Cooper to Head of Junior School.

Rebekah is an expert in her profession, and brings with her an incredible wealth of experience in Middle Schooling. She is an analytical and reflective educator, and well-respected in the St Philip’s Christian College community. As an alumni student and current Director of Studies at St Philip’s Christian College Newcastle, Rebekah has a practised knowledge and understanding of both the expectations and vision of St Philip’s.

Rebekah is an open, consultative and approachable leader, who fosters a culture of opportunity and trust within her team. She is passionate about Middle School students, and understands the intricacies of this age group. We know that she will do a phenomenal job, and look forward to her taking up the role of Head of Middle School in 2022.

We also have the pleasure of welcoming Caleb Cooper to the St Philip’s Christian College Cessnock team. Caleb is a brilliant educator, who has a prodigious strength in understanding the dynamics of teaching and learning. In his role as Head of Primary at Nambour Christian College, Caleb has shown sophistication in operational leadership founded upon his thorough understanding of the dynamics of organisations, his effective management of risk, and his development of clear systems.

Combining high academic achievement with an emphasis on developing students who are happy and well-rounded — Caleb helps Junior School students to excel in their life-long learning journey. We look forward to the vision and innovative implementations that Caleb will bring as Head of Junior School in 2022.
